Great job voting to repeal DC gun control laws & a patricidal thought experiment

Rep. Zach Wamp, (R-Tenn.), it is "fallacious to insinuate to people that somehow they are going to be safer if you ban guns. There are no facts to back that up....when we control guns, the bad guys have plenty, & there is a gun culture, & the good guys cannot defend themselves."

5 people were slain in D.C. in the last 29 hrs of 2009, a flurry of violence in a year that D.C.'s homicide rate was at it lowest in decades:  7pm Thurs., Tavon M. Borum, 23, fatally shot - Georgia Ave NW; 12:45am Thurs., Emmanuel Durant Jr., 19, Hawaii Ave NE. had been shot; 2pm Thurs., Carnell W. Bolden, 36, Park Drive SE. had been shot; 5:30pm Thurs., a man stabbed fatally  found - 900 block Bellevue St. SE.

Is Wizards' Gilbert Arenas a  good guy who should be able to defend himself w/ handguns? Against evil warlock, Javaris Crittenton? It makes sense for him to store handguns in his locker to pull out during arguments re: illegal gambling.

Let's see what happens if I start Amy's Militia for Freedom from the Reigns of Tyrannical (natives of) Great Britain - & go ahead & shoot my dad. It'd be perfectly in line w/ the 2nd Amendment, and its intended purpose. And dad's white, so maybe that 187 would be considered "intolerable" & due to "irresponsible legislative decisions" & this shit would stop. Hey, I'm not gonna kill my dad. I'm just sayin.
