unread/unfinished books

got all these books I either haven't started or haven't finished. whatever happened to prose before ho's? i fail.

2. Bitter Fruit - Schlesinger

3. Confessions of Nat Turner - Styron

4. Dependent Rational Animals - MacIntyre

5. The Uses of Haiti - Farmer

6. Salt: A World History

7. Under the Volcano - Lowry

8. Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln

4. Supposed to have finished during my first semester (Fall '03) at Gtown for Political & Social Thought. Drank gin instead. Got B-.
6. The publishers printed & bound this shit w/out the first 22 pages.
7. Takes place in Mexico & about alcoholism, often listed as one of the best books of the 20th cent. Don't know why, I'm just unmoved.
8. Think I just jacked this from my dad's house b/c his wife was reading it and I am very mature.
